October mid month update
I have been a busy boy so I have not been updating my blog. Here is a recap of some of the things I did so far.
I will update these as individual post if I find time. I also have some cool pictures to post.
- I turned 41 earlier this month
- Went ice skating for the first time in almost 20 years. No broken bones or bruises to report.
- Went to the Great Pumpkin Blaze with the Cub scouts
- Took the Cub Scout Den apple picking
- Went on a Cub Scout camp out in the freezing cold with my son
- Logged a quick day trip to Chicago
- Scoped a horse bladder with a customer and have it on video
- Went to the “Boo at the Zoo” with the family and some friends
- Joined Facebook and spent countless hours connecting with people from my past.
(not sure if that is a good thing or not yet)

Chef Calvin
Tonight I am in New Orleans. I flew in today to set up some equipment for Dr. Calvin Williams.
I met Calvin and Cheryl (his wife) a few months ago when I set up their office in Opelousas and I instantly hit it off with them.
This time Calvin called and asked me to outfit his office in New Orleans with another system. Part of the deal was I would set up the equipment on Friday night and train them on it Saturday. Once we had the plan set Calvin offered to cook up some Crawfish Etouffee. He claimed at the time he was a mean cook and hyped it up pretty good.
Tonight I had the pleasure of dinning with Calvin and Cheryl and the verdict is in. Calvin makes a mean Crawfish Etouffee. Not too spicy to and not to bland. He had just the right amount of heat to pull out the other flavors without overpowering the dish. Hats off to Chef Calvin for a meal well done.
Turns out Calvin also make a mean cup of coffee. He showed me the secret to his blend and I am going on record as stealing his recipe. So the next time I make you some coffee that is packed with robust flavor… you may be drinking Calvin’s blend.

Ft. Collins, CO
Today I am in Colorado visiting Colorado State University. Here are some photos from the trip.
Ft. Collins is a nice place. I love the view of the Rockie Mountains in the distance.
The photos of the horses were taken at the equine reproduction clinic. My company prrovided equipment for a teaching lab.

Keeping my day job.
Well my days as a forturne teller were short lived. Nancy had a baby girl that was just over 7lbs.
Jamie Nichole Drago… Welcome to the family.

Prediction
I am predicting that today is the day that I am going to get a call from Nancy and Bill telling me they had the baby and that it is a boy. I also think the baby is going to be on the higher side of 9 pounds and healthy.
Best of luck guys!
